Clean Water is Good for Business

This quarter, businesses in the watershed attended the ASBN Farm Bill Fly-in, Camden Community Day, and the Sustainable Business Network of Greater Philadelphia’s Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI) Partners' Spring Quarterly Meeting.

In policy, The Delaware River Basin Act, which would effectively expand recreation, mitigate erosion, improve water quality, protect wildlife, and control flood damage, is up for renewal this year. This provides funding for programs like those that are creating flood resilience in New Jersey and stronger water protections in New York.
The Clean Water is Good for Business - Delaware River Watershed SteeringStirring Committee published the fifth edition of CleanWater, a newsletter dedicated to water protection and responsible business in the watershed and across the United States. The steering committee engages businesses to make the business and economic case for water protections to advance shifts in business practices and public policy.
