Before you roll your eyes and write off the idea of flipping Kentucky purple, please indulge me for one minute.

John, I’m a realist. I know we’re not going to flip Kentucky blue (or even purple) overnight.

But here’s the truth: While I might be the only Democrat from Kentucky in Congress, I’m far from the only Democrat in Kentucky.

It’s going to take a lot of hard work, but we can make Kentucky competitive for Democrats again, and a big part of that means keeping this seat blue. Will you chip in $25 to establish KY-03 as a solid foothold for Democrats’ future in the Bluegrass State?

Here are a couple numbers that give me hope, John:

A sizable 44.5% of voters in Kentucky are registered Democrats.

Voter turnout in 2019 was over 42% — a historically high turnout which resulted in Governor Beshear ousting the Republican incumbent.

And here’s one statistic that worries me:

CNN just reported that Kevin McCarthy has already stockpiled $62.5 million to keep the House in Republican hands. With unprecedented GOP spending in key Kentucky Congressional elections, it’s critical that we ramp up grassroots fundraising to compete.

We need to start laying the groundwork now so we can flip Kentucky PURPLE in the not-too-distant future. Can you please consider contributing $25 (or whatever you can) to set us on the path toward making the dream a reality?

It won’t be easy, John, but together we can start pushing Kentucky forward.
