Louisiana’s school year starts next week! As teachers prepare to welcome students back, we want to know:

Should Louisiana’s public school teachers be paid more?

NO [[link removed]]

John, did you know that Louisiana’s teacher salaries still lag behind the regional average here in the South?

Think about the impact that has on our schools’ ability to retain talented teachers and better educate future generations of Louisianans. Our kids — who will one day start their own business, become teachers themselves, or maybe even run for governor — are counting on us to provide them with the best possible education.

That’s why one of Shawn Wilson’s top priorities is to increase teacher pay beyond the regional average and reward improved school performance!

But Shawn wants your input too, so take our poll and let us know: Should Louisiana increase pay for our public school teachers?

NO [[link removed]]

Thanks!
