In this “hypothetical rematch,” both gained only 43% support from the sampled registered voters, with Trump amassing a larger percentage of his base (88%) than Biden (83%). Trump is currently leading the GOP pack, potentially leading to yet another nail-biting presidential race.
For the sake of our democracy, Democrats can't afford to face a devastating loss that would result in another Trump presidency and undo all the progress Democrats worked to accomplish under President Biden. Next year’s presidential election could be dangerously close, and we can not afford another Trump presidency. Despite Trump’s legal issues, his base remains loyal MAGA followers and will stop at nothing to oust President Biden.
