In 2019, I won the race for Kentucky governor by just over 5,000 votes. Since then, we've restored voting rights to 180,000 Kentuckians, expanded health care access, legalized medical marijuana and sports gaming, created tens of thousands of jobs, and achieved the lowest unemployment rate in the history of the Commonwealth.

We're on the right path, but if we want to progress further, we must win in November. It won't be easy – I'm up against Mitch McConnell's protégé, and this race is being called the most competitive in the nation. In fact, a Republican firm released a poll claiming my opponent and I are neck-and-neck.

Outside groups have already begun pouring money into Kentucky to attack me, and we know more is on the way. The only way I can fight back and win this tough race is with the support of this grassroots team.
