John: Only 1 in 4 Senators are women.

 

John, representation is imperative to the effectiveness and
equality of this nation. For the current Congress, only 25% of
representatives are women. Two of those women are Senators Baldwin and
Rosen, who will face challenging races to defend their seats in 2024.
Without these voices in Congress, we have two fewer votes for reproductive
freedom, women's rights, and equality. 

Our nation is still plagued with the perpetuation of patriarchal
stereotypes and second-guessing the capabilities of women, and MAGA
Republicans love to play on those notions in the name of "conservatism,"
from stripping women of their bodily autonomy to fanning the flames of
misogyny.
