John – this is one of the longest emails I’ll ever send you, but it's important, so I hope you'll spare a few minutes to read it through.

I'm immensely grateful for the amount of support I've received since I've announced running for governor – and now, we're approaching our first end of month deadline . Can you become a Founding Donor today and help us reach our fundraising goal for the month of July?

This is a grassroots movement, powered by supporters like you. I fully believe that if we work together to win, we can bring real change throughout New Hampshire – long overdue! Here's how I plan on doing that:

STEP ONE: Uplift Working Families

It's time to fight for policies that focus on uplifting working families in New Hampshire – not just the wealthiest. Our state should be doing more to create better job opportunities, lower housing costs, and provide a stronger public education for every student.

These are the issues that are critical for giving folks a chance to get ahead. As Governor, I'll create good-paying jobs, put our public taxpayer dollars toward public schools, and ensure our state funding is flexible in order to build more housing.

STEP TWO: Combat Republican Spending

This race has been declared a toss-up by the Cook Report. Election experts agree – this is our chance to flip New Hampshire blue.

This means we aren’t taking anything for granted. With the presidential election, we are expecting millions of GOP campaign dollars to funnel into our state – home to Republicans' first presidential primary vote. This will activate the MAGA base in New Hampshire and mean that buying time on the airwaves will be more expensive, too.

So I mean it when I say every dollar counts for our grassroots campaign. We need the resources to compete and share our vision for New Hampshire. Granite Staters want opportunities for themselves and their families. People want to be heard and see REAL results. I need your help ensuring that our message of uplifting everyone is heard across the state.

STEP THREE: Bring More Democrats with Us

After beating a popular Republican incumbent in 2017, I've been re-elected mayor twice. And each time, I've brought more Democrats along with me on the aldermanic and school boards.

When I run for office, it's not just about me, it's about growing our Democratic majority. With Democrats in office, we can ensure public schools are well-funded, workers are treated with dignity, and reproductive health care is a right.

In this race, I'll be supporting Democratic candidates up and down the ticket.

I am ready to bring a new chapter for New Hampshire. If you're with me, please make a $25 contribution so we can make this happen, together – starting by reaching our first end-of-month fundraising goal since officially announcing this campaign. If everyone reading this chips in, we’ll knock it out of the park.
