Mississippi’s Giant House Party: The Neshoba County Fair

This past weekend, it was a pleasure to help kick off the Neshoba County Fair with friends and neighbors from across Mississippi. The Neshoba County Fair started as a two-day meeting in 1889 and has grown to an eight-day event. I’m proud to represent Neshoba County in Congress.

Border Security is National Security

As the Vice Chairman of the Committee on Homeland Security, I understand the importance of securing our border. Biden’s border crisis has led to over 5 million illegal crossings and states housing illegal immigrants in their school gymnasiums. Last week, I supported legislation that would ensure illegal immigrants are not being housed in schools where our students are learning. For the sake of national security, we must secure our border.

NDAA: Ending Wokeness in the Military

Recently, the House passed its version of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). This bill includes many strong provisions to combat woke policies in the military. Providing for our common defense is a key responsibility granted to Congress by the U.S. Constitution – the NDAA is a vital part of fulfilling that duty. The House’s bill is a strong product that I was proud to support. Read more about the bill here.

Lawrence County Constituent Services Day

Last week, members of my staff were in Lawrence County for a Constituent Services Day. These are great opportunities for us to hear your feedback and to identify ways we can be of service, including if you’re having a problem with a federal agency. Be on the lookout for more details in the future.
