Across the country, we’ve seen a summer of record-high temperatures. One thing is clear: the climate crisis is here.
As we face the daily realities of a warming climate, water and air pollution, dwindling natural resources, and more, our fight to preserve a livable planet for future generations is more urgent than ever.
This week, I was proud to introduce legislation to support and expand offshore wind development. Transitioning our infrastructure toward clean energy and away from fossil fuels is an essential piece of the climate fight, and we don’t have time to waste.
Add your name with mine to support bold, swift climate action in support of clean energy.

Climate change is a threat to our state. Rising sea levels that wash away our coast, hotter summers that damage our farms, and massive hurricanes that flood our streets and homes have become more frequent and more intense due to climate change. There are measures we can take not only to save our homes and our state, but also to boost our economy.
We must modernize our electric grid to increase the distribution of renewable energy and create incentives to expedite battery storage for intermittent renewable resources. These measures will reduce our need to use fossil fuels and will create thousands of good-paying jobs.
Now more than ever, we need leaders who trust scientists and experts. In Congress, I’ve fought for these issues, and I’ll continue to make combating climate change a top priority.
