Dear Friend,

I hope you are enjoying your summer! I have exciting news to share with you. I am partnering with the same strong team that has registered conservative voters in Florida first with Governor Rick Scott and then with Governor DeSantis and swung the state from lean Democrat to safe Republican. We have created “Fix PA” and it is a 501c4. Next month I will share more information with you and a link that will allow you to contribute so that we can secure Pennsylvania and win in 2024.

AFPI continues to move forward. We are starting a chapter in every state. Florida’s chapter is up and running. AFPI has identified 19 states to be the first in their initial nationwide rollout. More details to come in the coming months.

I am also excited to announce that I am part of President Donald J. Trump’s Pennsylvania Federal Leadership Team and I am actively working to support President Trump’s re-election. In fact, if you would like to attend a Trump rally he will be in Erie, Pennsylvania at the Erie Insurance Arena on July 29^th, here is the link to the Erie event, where I am honored to be one of the speakers. 45th President of the United States Donald J. Trump to Hold a Rally in Erie, Pennsylvania ( ([link removed]*11suuwu*_gcl_au*OTEyMjY1MTMyLjE2OTAyMTE3MDc.&_ga=2.87453776.97103194.1690211707-1718733678.1690211707) donaldjtrump.com) If you would like to attend a rally near you, please visit Events | Donald J. Trump (donaldjtrump.com) ([link removed]) .

For those of you who would like to attend a Trump fundraiser, information can be found here ([link removed]) for the October 26^th fundraising event at Mar A Lago in Palm Beach.

If you are considering volunteering and election integrity is important to you, please consider signing up to become a precinct committeeman at precinctstrategy.com. Be sure to confirm that your county and state have cleaned and updated their election rolls.

Below are two of my recent media hits.

Warmly,
Carla Sands

** Our Latest Efforts Against the Weaponization of Government
------------------------------------------------------------
This week, we announced the expansion of our Weaponization of Government Initiative. We are adding the expertise and knowledge of Nicole Parker, former FBI Special Agent, who will serve as a Senior Advisor for AFPI’s Center for Law and Justice. The Center is chaired by former Acting U.S. Attorney General Matt Whitaker and former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi.
Nicole Parker at our Speaker Series Event "Back the Blue Police Week: Honoring Our Heroes"
“We are living in a time when the very foundations of our democracy are being tested. It seems the Left is using vast powers of the government to intimidate, investigate, and prosecute those with whom they disagree while protecting themselves and those aligned with their radical interests,” said Pam Bondi. “The addition of former FBI Special Agent Nicole Parker, combined with our new website, will further our mission to highlight the truth and present solutions that ensure a renewed culture of transparency and accountability.”

In addition, we have initiated an investigation into the National Archives Records Administration (NARA) pertaining to the indictment of former President Trump by filing a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request. In accordance with this request, we will examine the role of the National Archives in procuring the indictment, in particular, concerning NARA’s adherence to or lack thereof to the Presidential Records Act. With that in mind, we have filed a FOIA request with the Archives requesting information related to past records of past presidents and senior cabinet officers. Read this FOIA request HERE ([link removed]) .

We are also launching a new Weaponization of Government website ([link removed]) , building on extensive work of holding the Biden Administration accountable and addressing the clear weaponization of government against political opponents. The site will be a resource that houses all policy documents that will educate the public on their rights and how they can defend themselves against unconstitutional government overreach and weaponization.

The website houses issue briefs and policy recommendations on topics such as:
* TOP 10 TAKEAWAYS FROM THE REPORT ON THE INTELLIGENCE ACTIVITIES AND INVESTIGATIONS OF THE 2016 PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGNS ([link removed])
* AMERICA FIRST ACTIONS TO COUNTER MEDDLING IN DOMESTIC POLITICS BY U.S. NATIONAL SECURITY OFFICERS ([link removed])

** Key Takeaways from our “Combating Fentanyl - The America First Action Plan” Event
------------------------------------------------------------
On July 13, we hosted Members of Congress, including U.S. Senator Roger Marshall (R-KS) and U.S. Representative Mark Green (TN-07), and AFPI Policy Center Chairs, including Kellyanne Conway, Pam Bondi, Steve Yates, and Matt Whitaker, to discuss the fentanyl epidemic plaguing our country and our proposed America First solutions to the issue.

The America First Action Plan to solve the fentanyl crisis involves four key areas:
* First, we must secure the border—to stop the drug flow into our Nation and to punish the Mexican drug cartels, who are public enemy number one for targeting our youth with deadly fentanyl.
* Second, we need to get tough on China by imposing penalties for the transmission of fentanyl precursors to Mexican cartels.
* Third, we must implement stricter law enforcement penalties for those that take any role in the manufacturing and distribution of fentanyl.
* And finally, we need to target the scourge of fentanyl poisoning through our education and public health systems, including by making life-saving reversal agents readily available to the public.

Catch the Event Recap Here ([link removed])
Our event kicked off with a discussion between Pam Bondi, Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost, and Texas mother, Stefanie Turner. During the discourse, Stefanie Turner shared her heart-wrenching story of losing her son, Tucker, to fentanyl.

If you take nothing else from our event, we ask you to listen to Stefanie's story—one all too common for families across the country as a result of this deadly drug epidemic.
Stefanie's story reminds us that the conversations around the dangers of fentanyl are not just about statistics. Instead, they are, most importantly, a discussion on real people, real families, and real loss.

** This week, I had the privilege of filming a special documentary in honor of the 60th anniversary of the I Have a Dream Speech at the Lincoln Memorial in D.C. with my dear friend and niece of MLK Jr, Dr. Alveda King, who chairs our Center for the American Dream.
