Dear John

In 1963, the first March on Washington was held in Washington, DC to call for the advancement of civil rights in the name of justice and equality. Now, 60 years later, our democracy and civil rights are still under attack.

In one month, the National Action Network and Drum Major Institute are hosting the 60th March on Washington on the National Mall to serve as a continuation of Dr. Martin Luther King’s message. As hard-fought civil rights are being stripped away each day in this country, there is no more important time than now to fight back. Will you join us in the fight for justice?

Here are the details:

What: 60th Anniversary of the March on Washington
When: Saturday, August 26th, 2023
Where: Lincoln Memorial
Time: 11:00 a.m. ET

Thank you for joining the continuation of this vital fight,

Shireen Shakouri
Deputy Director, Reproaction
Based in Washington, DC

P.S. Can't march with us? Donate to support the March on Washington.
