With less than four months to go until Election Day in Virginia, I thought it was time to reach out and talk a little about the stakes of this year’s state legislative elections. Virginia is at a crossroads.
When you look at the past two years since Republicans gained control of the House of Delegates and the Governor’s mansion in Richmond, we’ve seen them fight – not for Virginians, but to drag Virginia backward.
Republicans in the legislature introduced bill after bill to control women’s choices, prioritize tax cuts for Virginia’s wealthiest over working families, and make it harder for people to exercise the right to vote.
Look, we just cannot afford another two years with Republicans at the helm, which is why I’m reaching out to you myself.
Together, we can reverse the harm that extreme Republicans have unleashed on our Commonwealth and get back to tackling the issues that matter most to you.
