Explore Presidential History in Midland

The THC?s newest state historic site is the Bush Family Home. Built in 1940, the home is listed in the National Register of Historic Places as the residence of an exceptional political family: two U.S. presidents, a first lady, vice president, second lady, and two state governors.

The site reflects the lives of the family through informative exhibits, photos, and furnishings, including George W.?s childhood room, filled with 1950s memorabilia. In addition to visiting the home, you can also follow the site on Facebook [ [link removed] ] and Instagram [ [link removed] ].
