Folks, Senate Republicans may have let Donald Trump off the hook, but House Democrats are refusing to overlook the ongoing and rampant corruption of his administration. That’s why David has long spoken out to demand Attorney General William Barr’s resignation. Barr has long made clear that his top priority as attorney general is protecting Donald Trump at all costs – not dispensing impartial justice.
We cannot overstate the damage Barr is doing to the rule of law in America. He made moves to prosecute Trump’s political enemies. He has shown, multiple times, that he will lie for the President. He has demonstrated that he is more interested in serving as the President’s personal counsel than as the chief law enforcement officer of the United States. He lied under oath to Congress. The pattern of abuse of power is clear, it’s un-American, and it cannot be tolerated. He has to go.
