Hi, it's Sophia, the Field Coordinator for Schools & Communities First, with a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT ...
Over ONE MILLION Californians have supported getting Schools & Communities First on the November 2020 ballot!!!
This is a HUGE MILESTONE, but we are not done yet. We still need 600,000 more signatures before March 20th for Schools & Communities First to qualify for the ballot.
Thousands of Californians have already chipped in to help reclaim $12 billion a year for our local schools and local services, but we still need your help! Can you help Schools & Communities First qualify by collecting just nine signatures?

Schools & Communities First began with a coalition of Californians like you who want to build a better legacy. It's hard work gathering signatures outside supermarkets and knocking one door at a time, but we've gone from one signature to ONE MILLION thanks to the hard work of volunteers just like you in every corner of the state.
There is real momentum behind this initiative. Corporations refusing to pay their share are doing everything they can to keep Schools & Communities First from getting on the ballot, so we need to tap into our people-powered movement to help!
Will you collect just NINE signatures to get Schools & Communities First on the ballot?
Every signature helps, thanks for doing your part to help our campaign succeed!

The Schools & Communities First initiative reclaims $12 billion every year for California’s schools and local communities by closing commercial property tax loopholes benefiting a fraction of corporations and wealthy investors. The initiative benefits residents and small businesses by exempting homeowners and renters from any changes while implementing new tax relief for small businesses.
Paid for by Schools and Communities First - Sponsored by a Coalition of Social Justice Organizations Representing Families and Students. Committee major funding from:
