My opponent Democrat Marie Perez voted against an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act that would ban funding for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs in the military.

DEI is a divisive, racialized policy that undermines the strength of our armed forces by replacing our military’s meritocracy with sex, race, and sexual orientation based promotions and advancement.

As the New York Post reported, the greatest threat to our military isn’t Russia or China, but these destructive DEI policies.
