Next Stop: Guacathon 🛑 🚌

Every year, our friends Manny and Patricia Oliver fight to honor their late son, Joaquin “Guac” Oliver who was killed at Marjory Stoneman Douglas five years ago.

It’s their way of keeping his memory alive, and making sure no other parent has to grieve their children because of gun violence. This year, they’re going nationwide with Guac’s Magical Tour — a 23-stop tour for change, and you’re invited.

During each stop, the Olivers honor Joaquin’s life with rallies, concerts, and more alongside activists and survivors to demand gun safety legislation — and they’d love for you to join them if you live by one of their stops.

Through their organization, Change The Ref, they continue to inspire people and find creative ways to organize in every community. Actions like these are SO important to growing the gun violence prevention movement, bringing hope and connection to the cause, and getting folks on board to end gun violence.
