Republican state legislators in Iowa this week passed one of the country’s strictest abortion bans. They did it in a special session called for the sole reason of restricting reproductive freedom.

And here’s the sad truth: if Virginia Republicans gain just two seats in the State Senate this fall, they’ll be in a position to do the exact same thing.

Jennifer is working to make sure that Virginia Democrats in key districts hold the line in November. But it’s going to be a multi-front fight, and the funds we raise this summer will be critical for making a difference in a wide array of close races.
