| The Democratic Party is racing to the left, and no amount of fake concern from certain governors will change that. Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, for example, held a rally with Bernie Sanders right before Election Day. She’s also on camera saying she would abolish ICE. "Every day that passes before the agreement is ratified in Congress," they write, "is another day employers, workers and families are not benefiting from the new opportunities it makes possible and the higher standards it sets." |

| Gov. Lee Keeps School Safety Promise |
| What Happened: |
| Gov. Bill Lee is leading a $40 million-dollar initiative to make schools throughout Tennessee safer. |
| Why You Should Care: |
| As Gov. Lee said in his State of the State address earlier this year, "the safety of our children and teachers is paramount." But actions speak louder than words, and the governor is following through by putting his money where his mouth is! |
| What Happens Next: |
| The money will first go to the 500 Tennessee schools that have no school resources officers. Schools that receive funds, however, can also use it for things like securing entrances and exits, and training staff. |
