A few weeks ago, we asked you to sign a petition to demand that the U.S. Senate uphold their oaths by conducting a fair and thorough impeachment trial of President Trump's actions.

The good news is that thanks in part to all of you who spoke out, Mitch McConnell extended debate times during the trial.

The bad news is that Senate Republicans have shot down every effort by Democrats to change the rules to allow for crucial witnesses and documents. They're doing everything in their power to prevent witnesses from testifying AND new critical evidence from being heard - despite new bombshells from John Bolton about the withholding of aid to Ukraine.

David and his colleagues fought hard to present a fair, fact-based case to the Senate. They determined that articles of impeachment were necessary to hold Donald Trump accountable for his corruption and criminality.

We cannot let all this work go to waste. No matter what happens in the Senate, we must continue to hold Trump accountable until we beat him at the ballot box in November.
