📣📣📣Action Alert, John!

Today, the California state legislature is holding hearings on the Gun Violence Prevention, Healing, and Recovery Act, a transformative gun safety measure that would tax firearms to fund community violence prevention programs in the state.

Our organizers and advocates are currently at the state capitol speaking out and demanding the Senate Public Safety Committee support AB 28.

But this kind of on-the-ground organizing — which is critical to getting this bill passed — takes serious resources. There's making sure we have enough organizers to coordinate our volunteers and host rallies, print-outs with info for our community, public safety supplies, signs — and that’s to start.

We need to send more resources to our CA team to get this gun safety legislation past the first legislative hurdle. Send a donation show your support >>
