I want to thank you so much for helping our campaign take flight in July. Last month was nothing short of incredible—more first-time donors and total funds raised than in the first half of the year, more press, and more big endorsements.

I couldn't do this, our Shahid for Change team couldn't do this, and the movement we're building to liberate San Francisco's voice in Congress couldn't do this—without you. The momentum today is unlike anything we saw in the 2018 campaign, and, because of the foundation we're building with you and thousands more grassroots supporters here in SF and across the country, we will continue to grow.

Let me give you a quick recap of some of our highlights in July:

I did interviews with the Humanist Report and Mission Local/SF Gate and Jewish Currents/Jacobin.

#ShahidVsPelosi in July announced endorsements from Shaun King, Cornel West, Linda Sarsour, and Cory Doctorow. Lawrence Lessig, my former Stanford Law professor, also endorsed in a damning editorial titled, "Enough."


I am in Atlanta this weekend for the Democratic Socialists of America biennial national conference, where I talking with allies of our movement from throughout the country. Together, we will win Medicare-for-All, the Green New Deal, free college and tuition debt forgiveness, and end these endless wars.
