Our opponents are TERRIFIED -- they saw our recent poll showing 60% of Californians support Schools & Communities First and have started a deceiving social media campaign to spread lies about our initiative on sites like Nextdoor and Facebook!

PolitiFact California has rated these social media attacks as FALSE.

Help us fight back against these false attacks >>

Here's what Schools & Communities First WILL DO: it closes a tax loophole that wealthy investors and corporations have exploited for decades to avoid paying their fair share. Like several independent news sites have confirmed, Schools & Communities First PROTECTS all homeowners and renters by maintaining tax protections for all residential property.

But we know just how manipulative these social media campaigns can be, so we need your urgent help to get our message out to voters across the state to fight back against these deceitful lies and amplify the truth.

Corporations and far-right special interest groups like the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association are planning to spend MILLIONS in dark money to amplify these lies.

These groups will stop at nothing to save a penny, even if it means keeping our schools and local communities underfunded for the rest of us.

We aren't afraid -- we know that the POWER OF THE PEOPLE is on our side -- but we need your help.

Together, we will win this fight!

The Schools & Communities First initiative reclaims $12 billion every year for California’s schools and local communities by closing commercial property tax loopholes benefiting a fraction of corporations and wealthy investors. The initiative benefits residents and small businesses by exempting homeowners and renters from any changes while implementing new tax relief for small businesses.
