Hey Y'all! We're having our monthly general meeting Thursday July 13 from 7-9pm at the Gulf Coast ALF (2506 Sutherland St). This is where the membership comes together to be in community, discuss the activities going on within our own chapter and the national DSA, and conduct chapter business like elections, votes, or resolutions. This meeting will be a great opportunity to get involved with our 2023 plans! We'll hear reports from our Labor Working Group on our support for the Strike Ready Campaign, updates from our Abolition Working Group, plus hear from our delegates to the 2023 DSA National Convention and preview the upcoming campaign to make Houston more democratic! I hope to see y'all there! General meetings are open to non-members, though participation in certain activities like elections and votes is reserved for Houston DSA members only (click here to become a member)! |
