Did you know that Virginia is the only state in the south that hasn’t banned abortion? 

It’s true: North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, Louisiana, Arkansas, Texas, and Kentucky all have abortion bans in place. South Carolina also banned abortion -- but earlier this year a state Supreme Court ruling struck it down for being too extreme.

Here’s the bottom line: Virginia stands alone as the only state in the south to protect women’s reproductive freedom. 

But with elections coming up in Virginia this November that will determine control of our state’s legislature, and Virginia Republicans openly calling for bans on abortion, the stakes couldn’t be higher. 

We need to do everything we can to preserve women’s rights in our Commonwealth, so I’m asking: Will you split a donation between my campaign and the Democratic Party of Virginia to ensure we elect strong pro-choice leaders in both 2023 and 2024?
