A new report shows that Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s administration has pulled down LGBTQ+ youth resources from a state website.
The conservative website Daily Wire pressured Youngkin to remove the online resources for LGBTQ+ youth -- which he did without consulting the subject-matter experts within his own administration.
And this isn't the first time he’s done something like this: Records show that Youngkin has removed public health resources on abortions, sexual health, and pregnancy, among other issues, from his own administration’s websites three separate times in the last 18 months.
This is a painfully clear reminder that Gov. Youngkin is moving our Commonwealth in a decidedly backwards direction -- and that we can’t get complacent about 2024.
The fact is, Virginia is a purple state, and with national Republicans poised to invest heavily in defeating Tim Kaine and turning it into a solid red state, we need to fight back.
