Hi there, John,

We only need 500 more people to take action ( it only takes a minute to add your name!
[[link removed]] ) before tomorrow. Will you be one of them?

It’s simple: The more actions we generate this month, the more likely we are to
positively impact the lives of young people who need our help. Please add your name. We need to raise our voices in support of young people
under threat — like José Adrián.

José Adrián was minding his own business, walking home from school, when police
jumped him and threw him against their car. José Adrián had stumbled onto the
aftermath of a clash between a group of people who ended up damaging a police
car. Police arrested only José Adrián — a Mayan boy, just 14-years-old (!) at
the time — with no explanation.

They stomped on his neck, strung him up by handcuffs, beat him, and then
released him — after making his parents pay a fine and the cost of damage to the
police car.

Police have followed a familiar pattern in Mexico — targeting the poor and
discriminated against, in this case, a young Indigenous boy. We will not stand
for this!

John, you can sign your name to show your immediate
support for young people — including José Adrián — who have been attacked,
harassed, and jailed.

By taking this meaningful action today, you’ll help keep hopes alive — and
you’ll fight for what’s right.

Thank you for everything you do!
