John—
Just last week, CNN reported that the Trump campaign ran more than 200
misleading political ads on Facebook — all in the span of just 24 HOURS —
accusing “the liberal media” of trying to prevent them from running ads
during the Super Bowl.
You and I both know that this is simply untrue. But Facebook’s response?
*Crickets*
It’s clear that Mark Zuckerberg would rather use his platform to spread
dangerous falsehoods to help re-elect Trump and support anti-choice
extremists than protect the integrity of our electoral process.
[ [link removed] ]Thousands of NARAL members have signed our letter condemning Zuckerberg
for selling out to anti-choice extremists. But with this latest news, we
need to do even more — and fast. Will you add your name right now to join
them? We’ll make sure it’s seen by Facebook by posting ads on the platform
condemning Zuckerberg.

On Election Day last year, when the fate of the entire Virginia
legislature was hanging in the balance, anti-choice blog The Federalist
published an article on Facebook falsely claiming that abortion is never
medically necessary — a claim that could have cost women their lives and
swayed the outcome of the election.
But Facebook didn’t care.
And they still don’t. Earlier this month Zuckerberg doubled-down on his
decision to allow political ads that spread disinformation on the platform
without fact-checking these blatantly false claims.^1
Zuckerberg has ignored Facebook users, his own employees, and the general
public’s cries to change its policy.^2
NARAL Pro-Choice America members across the country have signed on to hold
Mark Zuckerberg accountable for enabling the spread of fear-mongering and
deception on his platform and for compromising the integrity of our
democracy and the health of women everywhere.

using Facebook to peddle the anti-choice movement’s blatant untruths.
Thanks for all you do,
