How has the last year changed your view of the fight for reproductive freedom?

“I am more involved in movements than I was before. I seek out education and seek out ways I can learn to help my community; within that I've learned the full reality of reproductive justice, not just the importance of abortion. I'm also less afraid to contact my [sic] legislators and make them uncomfortable as well as trying to show that abortion is not a dirty or bad word. This has also shown me the importance of local and state legislative leaders and not just federal as well as the importance of finding and fighting for pro-abortion candidates.” —Courtney from Missouri

Why is reproductive freedom important to you?
“It’s important to me because it’s my body and I should be the only person that decides what happens with my body.” —Brittany from Michigan
“Bodily autonomy is a human right. This is a decision that should be made between the patient and their provider. Not by elected government officials who do not accurately reflect their constituents.” —Christie from Colorado
“I believe a person has the right to decide whether they want a child or not. It is not for anyone else to decide for them, especially the government.” —David from Washington
