Freedom from Homelessness

Twin Oaks Shelter for the Homeless, a program of Community Action, Inc., guides our friends and neighbors in Walworth County toward economic self-reliance. We help our residents learn the root cause of their financial crisis and create an action plan to move into stable housing.

Fresh produce at Twin Oaks

With a full shelter--including 11 kids--we encourage as much outdoors time as possible. Volunteers are working in our shelter garden, tending to the plants and teaching our residents how to grow and cook their own fresh food.

Stop by Thursday mornings during the summer to join our Twin Oaks Garden Club.
