Tomorrow, the American flag will be flying more than any time of the year. Rightfully so, the 4th of July is a time to honor all the progress we’ve made as a nation. And it's a time to double down on the work we need to do to fulfill our promise as the greatest democracy in the world. 

When you see the American flag tomorrow, remember this: the flag doesn’t belong to MAGA. And it sure as hell doesn’t belong to Trump. The flag is a symbol of hope and a promise of freedom. It’s a beacon for democracy across the globe and it represents everything that is best about America.

We made two ads to hammer home this message.

“Flag of Treason” is a reminder that the MAGA movement openly celebrates the Confederate flag. And in doing so, advocates for white supremacy and the hateful rebellion that led to the Civil War.

“Take Back the Flag” is our call to use the American flag as a symbol of the pro-democracy movement. And to not let MAGA co-opt the flag as another one of their symbols of hate and division.
