Despite our best efforts, we are still about $63,000 short of our fundraising goal for the quarter, and today is the last day of the quarter.

We’ve been sending mail, emails, calling, making phone calls, and holding events --- everything we can to raise the money we desperately need to defeat the most vulnerable Democrat in Congress, Marie Perez.

And as I finish making calls and doing events for the quarter this evening, we’re still way short of our goal.

However, I also have some good news. One of nation’s top polling firms did an independent survey of my district and found that a super-majority of Republicans -- 81% -- support my campaign for the Republican nomination.

Republicans here know I lost by less than 1% in the last election despite a divisive primary and being outspent by Democrat Marie Perez by 6-to-1, and they’re rallying early and eagerly to my campaign.

We can win this, but only if we get the help we need.
