#LowcountryFirst Pass In Review | June 30, 2023 Back to the Lowcountry! Hello and Happy Friday! After nearly two straight months in Washington, we’re back in the Lowcountry! It’s great to be back home. This past Sunday we joined Maria Bartiromo with Rep. Bryon Donalds (R-FL) on Fox News to talk about this Administration’s weaponization of the federal government. While the left continues to shame us for censuring Adam Schiff for leaking classified information and lying to the American public, they are calling for a former president to rot in jail. It’s clear the justice system in America operates in two tracks; one with sweetheart deals for anyone named Biden or Clinton and another for anyone named Trump. Watch more here. Monday morning we spoke with Larry Kudlow on Fox Business about the House Oversight investigation into Hunter Biden and what the DOJ and Adminstration is trying to hide. We will continue to work tirelessly to follow the facts, wherever they take us. Watch the full interview here. Tuesday we observed PTSD awareness day. We stand with those affected by Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and understand the need to spread awareness and understanding within our communities. If you or someone you know is in crisis, there are resources to help. Call or Text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. For Veterans in crisis go to mentalhealth.va.gov. Wednesday we celebrated the 28th anniversary of the remarkable milestone when the Citadel opened its doors to women, breaking barriers and embracing women's education. Also on Wednesday was Carolina Day, where we celebrated the South Carolina patriots who, 247 years ago, successfully defended Sullivan’s Island and Charleston Harbor against 9 British ships in a fort made of palmetto logs. Thursday we joined in for a news conference with State and TriCounty EMS organizations regarding the start of Hurricane season. We showed our appreciation for MedTrust for their leadership role they are taking in evacuation preparedness for South Carolinians. Look here for more state and local resources this Hurricane season. The same evening, we spent time at LG’s by the Creek with Lowcountry residents for one of our “Cocktails With Your Congresswoman” events. We are always here to spend time and to connect with constituents, hear their concerns, and answer their questions. To stay in the loop on when we hold our events, stay subscribed to our newsletter and follow our Eventbrite page! Lowcountry residents! We’re looking for more District Dog submissions! Drop the information on your pup here. We are always here to assist you with any issues or concerns. Please feel free to reach out to us. It is an honor to serve each and every one of you. Have a great weekend! Sincerely, Congresswoman Nancy Mace Visit My Website DISTRICT DOG OF THE WEEK 🐶 Our #DistrictDog this week is Ike!
