Pollution from the transportation sector hits the health and well-being of low-income communities and communities of color the worst. EPA's standards for tailpipe emissions would improve air quality and health outcomes in these communities.
Meanwhile, wealthy and powerful interest groups—oil and gas companies, some car manufacturers—are trying to weaken these rules. They’re putting their profits over our climate and public health.
