Here's the truth, JOhn: when I think about the stakes of this race, I get concerned.

Ours will be one of the most competitive races in the country, so we can’t come up short ahead of our critical FEC filing deadline. Please use this link to donate whatever you can → [link removed]

Republicans saw a double-digit swing in their favor in VA-10 last year, and the district is now on their radar again for 2024. If Republicans defeat Jennifer, they'll almost certainly have retained their House majority. And we know from the first few months of this year what a GOP House majority means:

-Efforts to subvert democracy and suppress voting rights
-Science-denying extremists in charge of committees that are supposed to help protect our environment
-Dangerous brinkmanship with government funding
-A hard barrier against any legislation that boosts working families, protects rights, restores reproductive freedom, and expands opportunity

House Republicans are proposing extreme policies that would roll back drug pricing reforms and clean energy reforms. They're hoping to use federal workers as political pawns in the next budget fight. And they continue to embrace MAGA rhetoric and throw in their lot with Donald Trump – even if that means attacking the rule of law. The idea of them still controlling the congressional agenda come 2025 is chilling.

But I'm turning my fear of all this into motivation to work harder than ever to ensure that it doesn't happen. And a key part is making sure Jennifer meets all of her fundraising goals – including getting Jennifer to her FEC goal by tomorrow's deadline.

It's important that we put up as strong a number as possible, because all of our opponents will see what we raise. Chip to now so we can make up our current fundraising deficit of $5,277 →
