I know that you might be thinking: "How can just $29 make a difference in an election year as important as this one?" Mitch McConnell has an endless list of allies who can fund a month's worth of attack ads with the stroke of a pen. And here in New York, Republicans know that they just had their best election cycle in decades. They will be spending millions to flip this seat red and build on their gains.

But, when hundreds or thousands of people chip in $29, one time, two times, three times or even monthly, those little drops in a bucket become an unstoppable wave. That's how grassroots campaigns are built, John: Dollar by dollar. Gift by gift. Donor by donor. And even the GOP's wealthiest donors can't defeat that type of movement.

Even still, building a war chest of grassroots resources takes time. That's why it's so critical that we hit every single goal on the road to Election Day. But right now, we're falling dangerously short of our $50,000 end-of-quarter goal. This is a major test for our campaign — and the deadline is at midn‌ight tomor‌row.
