John,

Yesterday Robert Murphy, one of the declared candidates in the Super 6 DeKalb Commission race dropped out and endorsed our candidacy - [link removed]

"He will bring a new direction and a fresh perspective that will move DeKalb forward. His experience as Mayor of Clarkston makes him ready to lead from day one," Murphy said in his announcement. "Under Ted Terry's leadership, I have no doubt that Super District 6 and all of DeKalb will reach their full potential."

I want to thank Robert for caring enough to get involved and run for public office. Thank him for his endorsement & support. Even though he isn't running, this time, I know he will continue to be an advocate for moving DeKalb forward. And together we will do just that!

Together I know we can achieve the improbable, and maybe even the impossible.

John, you are a part of this movement to bring about progressive change. You helped me make Clarkston the most progressive city in the Southeast. You helped me show Georgia that there are tens of thousands here who want to see change now.

Now I'm taking that change to a district with 235,000 voters, in one of the most diverse counties in America. Help me continue the work we started in Clarkston.
