Councilman Wright shared the following statement:
“I am proud to endorse Carmen Goers for the 8th congressional district. Enumclaw is a community that prides itself on its independence, family values and being a hub for small businesses. Carmen, as a commercial banker, knows that over regulation and taxation can not only kill small businesses, but suffocate opportunity. Carmen and I spoke of faith, family and community. Carmen understands how important those are in both our lives and to the citizens of Enumclaw. I know that in Congress Carmen will not only be a champion for us here on the Plateau, but the entire eighth congressional district. I am proud to support her and her journey to become our next Congresswoman.”
I am honored to receive the endorsement of Councilman Wright. I share Councilman Wright's belief in the importance of small businesses and the need for policies that promote growth and opportunity.
I’m grateful for Councilman Wright’s recognition of my awareness as a commercial banker. My firsthand experience in seeing the impacts of overregulation and excessive taxation in our economy has fueled my desire to protect the lifeblood of our communities: small businesses.
When elected to Congress, I will work tirelessly to be a strong advocate for the residents of Enumclaw and the entire 8th Congressional District. Together, we will champion limited government, individual freedoms, family values, and community partnerships while advancing policies that empower our constituents and create a brighter future for all.
John,
I need your support to succeed in the fight to protect Washington’s community economies from Big Government. Will you offer a contribution of any amount as an endorsement of your own today?
