I shouldn’t be telling you this, but I really hate asking for money. It’s honestly the worst part of the job.

But the reality is that our fundraising has hit a wall at the worst possible time, and if we’re going to keep this district blue and flip the House next year, we’ve got to do whatever it takes to break out of this summer slump.

After Friday, we have to file our quarterly numbers with the FEC — and calling this end-of-quarter deadline a “big deal” would be a massive understatement.

We need to get out of this fundraising slump, and it’s now or never. Can I count on you to have my back and chip in a few bucks before Friday night to help us hit our $5,000 goal and take back the House?

No seat is safe in 2024, team, which means that if we’re going to take back control of the House, we need to defend Democratic seats like mine.

A last-second fundraising boost next year won’t be enough to win the competitive races we need to take the Speaker’s gavel from McCarthy.

We need to lay the groundwork right now if we’re going to stand a chance to do things like pass common sense gun reform, protect abortion access, expand health care for millions, and so much more.

That’s all possible, but only if we take back the House — and the first step to doing that is knocking this end-of-quarter goal out of the park. Would you please consider chipping in $25 (or whatever you can)?
