Today is the one year anniversary of the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision that repealed Roe V Wade. Because of that ruling, millions of Americans have lost access to healthcare and their reproductive freedoms—with devastating consequences for women and girls all across this country.

This decision sent the healthcare system into chaos. Doctors and hospital lawyers couldn’t interpret the state laws written by predominantly male lawmakers who honestly don't have a clue what they are talking about. As a result, OB-Gyn physicians are leaving states with restrictive abortion bans, making it even harder for women to access care.

We want better, not just for the current generations, but for future generations who will have to pay the price for our inaction.

Let’s be clear, personal medical decisions should be kept between patients and doctors—politicians and judges have no place in that equation.

While we mark this terrible anniversary, we’re also waiting for a ruling on Mifepristone’s FDA approval. If they decide to ban the leading abortion pill, that would call into question the FDA’s authority to regulate any drug—all based on nothing more than political grandstanding.
