John,

One year ago today we learned we no longer have a federal constitutional right to an abortion. We no longer have a right to make decisions about our own bodies. And millions no longer have a right to critical healthcare.

But the attacks didn’t stop on June 24, 2022.

13 states saw so-called ‘trigger laws’ go into effect — several cases because of laws dating back to the 1800s. Laws were proposed within months across state legislatures further denying a woman her right to choose. Republicans in Congress proposed a national abortion ban.

When I was born, the right to choose was protected, and now my daughter — and all of our daughters — have less control over their bodies than I did 50 years ago. This is simply unacceptable.

John, I am dedicated to protecting a woman’s right to choose and make decisions for her body, and if you send me to Congress, I will continue the fight to restore this CRITICAL right. If they can take rights away from 51% of the population, no American is safe. There’s no telling what they will go after next.

So will you stand with me on this solemn anniversary and call on Congress to protect a woman’s right to choose for women in EVERY state by signing my petition today? [[link removed]]
