JOhn,

Exactly one year ago today, shortly after 10 AM, we got official confirmation of what we'd long feared would happen: the Republican-controlled Supreme Court had overturned Roe v. Wade and ended the nationally-recognized right to abortion.

The anger and hurt we felt on June 24, 2022, have not subsided. They've only gotten worse as the realities of the Dobbs decision have taken hold and millions of Americans in nearly half of all states have been stripped of reproductive freedom.

I stand in solidarity with everyone who has been forced into an impossible situation by restrictive and regressive state laws, and I am more determined than ever to stay in the fight to restore the rights that have been unjustly denied.

Will you stand with me as I continue to champion legislation to restore abortion rights nationwide? Every grassroots contribution helps ensure that Northern Virginia will still have strong pro-choice representation.

In the wake of Dobbs, voters across the country have spoken loud and clear in favor of abortion rights. They blocked abortion bans in the red states of Kentucky, Montana, and Kansas. They enshrined abortion rights into law in the battleground state of Michigan. And they consistently rejected hard-right anti-choice candidates — leading Democrats to broadly overperform expectations in the midterm elections.

There is true popular momentum behind the push to restore nationwide abortion rights, and we cannot afford to let up going into another critical election year.

Every district is going to matter, and I fully expect to face another tough fight against an anti-choice MAGA Republican (last year, my opponent said he was "thrilled" that Roe was overturned).

Please, chip in a few dollars or more now to help us show that support for the right to choose remains strong and that we will keep mobilizing and organizing in the face of injustice — no matter how many years it takes.

Thank you,

Jennifer
