Register today for the Agriculture and Environmental Education Academy, a joint offering from EGLE Classroom and the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development!
Join us July 18-19, 2023 at the Kellogg Biological Station in Hickory Corners, MI for two full days of hands-on learning about the connections between agriculture and environmental protection. You?ll have an opportunity to learn more about where your food comes from, how to keep soil and water healthy, climate-resilient agriculture, best management practices for environmental protection, careers in agriculture and the environment, and much more. You?ll walk away with tons of educational resources, including ready-to-use lesson plans on a wide variety of agricultural and environmental topics.
This event is targeted toward K-12 classroom teachers, but educators of all kinds are welcome to attend. Teachers will be able to earn up to 11.5 SCECHs at no additional cost.
