Dear Brooklynites,

The polls are open and early voting has officially begun! This is expected to be a low-turnout primary, so your vote and your energy can make a huge difference for Brooklyn.

Here are two key steps you should take to ensure we have plenty to celebrate when the polls close the night of June 27th.

1. Make a plan to vote! Visit the Board of Elections website to find your polling place, view a sample ballot, and get other key information. You can check out the schedule for early voting below.
2. Get out the vote for BYD-endorsed candidate Wai Yee Chan! Wai Yee is running in the City Council District 43, which is has been created to give AAPI communities in Southern Brooklyn a stronger voice.

Wai Yee has served these communities for years as executive director of Homecrest Community Services, but she faces a primary challenge from opponents who describe themselves as having "Republican values," and who won't even commit to supporting Democrats over Republicans in the general election.

We need to ensure a committed Democrat wins this race. Sign up to support Wai Yee this week by talking to voters on the streets or over the phone!
Get out the vote for Wai Yee!
