John — I have a key strategy update for select supporters that I’m asking you to keep confidential. Here’s what we’re looking at:

• As of last week, there were 216,103 more registered Democrats than Republicans on the North Carolina voter rolls…
• But another 2,611,397 voters are registered Unaffiliated.
• A huge share of these voters are in Democratic-leaning counties, including Mecklenburg and Wake counties, which have a combined 620,289 Unaffiliated voters.

John, we know that Josh won’t become our next Governor without winning over the majority of Unaffiliated voters. That means they need to hear from him directly. We’ll be launching MASSIVE voter outreach efforts in these areas — but first, we need your help.

We’re assigning you Wake County, John, where we’re budgeting $285,590 to reach their 334,699 Unaffiliated registered voters. We’ve calculated that we’ll need at least 200 grassroots supporters like you to step up today to power our efforts to connect with these voters and keep this campaign running strong.
