Last week, Ron DeSantis praised Donald Trump’s three extreme right-wing appointments to the Supreme Court – but said that in his view, the “gold standard” of Supreme Court Justices are Sam Alito and Clarence Thomas.
That’s right – the same Sam Alito who authored the overturning of Roe v. Wade. The same Clarence Thomas who said we should “revisit” the legality of gay marriage. The same Clarence Thomas who regularly receives lavish gifts from mega-GOP donor and renowned Hitler enthusiast, Harlan Crow. The same Clarence Thomas whose wife worked overtime to overturn the 2020 election.
If Ron DeSantis or Donald Trump become president, they’ll appoint more extreme right-wing Supreme Court Justices like Clarence Thomas and Sam Alito – and we can’t allow that to EVER happen.
