John,

Two weeks ago I suspended my campaign for US Senate. This week I launched my campaign for the DeKalb County Super 6 Commission District. My home district for the last 15 years. Comprised of half of DeKalb County, with over 230,000 voters. One of the most Democratic counties in Georgia (Stacey Abrams received 83% of the vote).

The election will be a Democratic Primary on Tuesday, May 19th.

I spoke with local CBS 46 about why I want to serve the people of DeKalb County and let it be known that I will seek to be a disruptive force against inequity and injustice - [link removed]

If you supported the issues I led on as Mayor of Clarkston, Georgia these last 7 years, I need your support for this race. It will be decided in a May 19th primary election.

Which means we need to raise money to get our message out, faster than ever.

If you supported decriminalizing cannabis and ending the war on drugs, taking action on climate change, fighting for a living minimum wage, establishing election day as a holiday, fixing our affordable housing crisis, or standing up against the corporate control of our democracy, I need you to help me continue the fight!

Please chip in to help fund our grassroots campaign, help us knock every door! - [link removed]

Thank you for your continued support,

-- Mayor Ted
