Since 2009, Lillian’s List has presented the Courage Award to women legislators or Council of State members who have shown courage in standing up for women, children and families.

 

We need your help with nominations for this year's Jan Allen Courage Award!

 

The eligibility criteria for this award are:

  • Woman legislator or member of the Council of State or past legislator or member of the Council of State
  • Current or former Lillian’s List Featured Candidate
  • Is a demonstrated champion for reproductive freedom, gender equity, women, children, or families

In 2022, we were delighted to award Rep. Julie von Haefen and Senator Gladys Robinson the Courage Award for their courageous work to expand access to healthcare and defend access to abortion. We look forward to honoring another deserving women legislator again in 2023!
