Guest speakers Michael L. Milnor, retired Chief of Police for Alta Vista, Viriginia, and Nancy Oglesby, prosecutor in the Commonwealth of Virginia, covered the many aspects of a thorough child homicide investigation, including scene preservation, evidence gathering, interrogation strategies, and the medical aspects seen in many child death cases. This specialized training went a step further and also touched on the importance of managing the mental and emotional toll that these cases can have on investigators and child welfare professionals.   A New & Improved Northeast Center Alliance For Children’s original Northeast Center officially reopened on Monday, June 5! In additional to more square footage and necessary updates, we have made upgrades to technology, and other thoughtful enhancements to better serve Tarrant County families in this northeast portion of the county for years to come.
