Patriots Gather for "Right to Pledge" Rally

Yesterday, we hosted a ‘Right to Pledge’ rally in Elizabethtown, drawing a crowd from across Bladen County to honor the flag and recite the Pledge of Allegiance. This event came just one hour prior to the February meeting of the local Board of Elections, where last month, the chair of the board refused to allow members of the public to recite the pledge at the beginning of the meeting.

Rally-goers included Bladen County Republican Party chairman Wayne Schaeffer and current Board of Elections member Michael Aycock.

Many locals came to support the cause and to fellowship around patriotic, pro-constitution ideals. At the rally, Greg offered the following:
“We’re here to honor the pledge and to recite the pledge, to show our respect to Old Glory…That’s America, that’s what makes America great. People here respect the flag, they know what it stands for,” said Gebhardt “The people here aren’t afraid to stand for [the flag].”

“When I caught news that the chair of the Bladen County Board of Elections threatened to have people arrested for exercising their first amendment right to recite the pledge of allegiance…That’s un-American, that’s anti-American! That goes against what many of us veterans here fought for.

“There are plenty of people in this state that are proud to stand for the flag. There are plenty of people across this country that know what it means to honor the flag, and that’s why we’re here. We’re not going to run and hide when our first amendment right is threatened.”

Our team will continue our journey across North Carolina through the month of February as part of our “First in Flight” Tour. To see our full schedule of Meet & Greets and Rallies across the state, go online to www.jointeamgreg.com/flightplan.

ICYMI: Check out our 30-second TV ad

"Join Team Greg" | Greg Gebhardt for Lt. Governor

We are excited to share with you that our 30-second TV ad has been finalized!

We are 20 days away from winning the Primary Election, and Greg needs your help.

When Greg asked me to be his campaign manager, we agreed that our #1 objective is to put Greg's authentic-self out in front of every North Carolina voter, to share our message of freedom, opportunity, and The American Dream.

This 30-second TV ad spot captures Greg's 2020 Vision for Victory: Veterans, Vocational Trades, and Voter ID.

We need to get TV time to spread our message far and wide, and we can’t do it without your support. We'll be up on Fox News next week. Can Greg count on your support to help spread this message?

A donation of $20.20 will allow us to share this ad with up to 2,000 people.
$100 = Up to 7,000 people.
$500 = Up to 35,000 people.

Every donation, big or small, is leading us closer to our March 3rd victory. Your gift today will make you a part of that victory.
